Superside is seeking a versatile and skilled Senior Video Content Producer to join our growing Marketing Creative team. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Superside’s video production capabilities as we establish a new studio in Cape Town. This role is focused on producing compelling, high-quality video content designed to drive direct response advertising like this example and measurable results.


From quick-turn digital ads to full-scale productions, you’ll be responsible for everything from conceptualizing and filming videos to editing and appearing on camera. You’ll also coordinate larger productions involving external talent, locations, and specialized crews while contributing to Superside’s ambitious advertising goals. This is a unique opportunity to make a high-impact contribution as we elevate our video marketing efforts to new heights.

What You'll Do

    • Film and produce high-quality videos independently, setting up lights, audio, and cameras and ensuring all technical aspects are handled with precision.
    • Appear on camera as needed for ads, explainer videos, or branded content, with the ability to speak in a convincing American accent.
    • Coordinate both small-scale and large-scale productions, sourcing talent, managing logistics, and collaborating with external crews and locations.
    • Develop engaging video concepts, storyboards, direct response ads, and branded content that resonate with target audiences.
    • Edit video content, ensuring polished, professional results that align with Superside’s branding and advertising strategies.
    • Collaborate with motion designers, editors, and the broader marketing team to ensure alignment with overall creative goals.
    • Experiment with new video formats, styles, and approaches to maximize the performance of paid advertising campaigns.
    • Maintain consistent delivery of high-quality content while meeting tight deadlines and multiple project demands.
    • Travel occasionally to industry events or on-location shoots to capture dynamic, real-world footage.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • Based in Cape Town, South Africa, with access to our studio.4+ years of experience in video production, with a proven track record in both independent projects and large-scale productions.
    • Expertise in lighting, audio, and camera setups for professional video shoots.
    • Comfortable and charismatic on camera, with prior experience presenting or acting in video content.
    • Proficiency in video editing software, mainly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.A strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling, technical expertise, and successful video campaigns.
    • Knowledge of video production for marketing and advertising, with B2B or SaaS experience as a plus.
    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple projects effectively.
    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.A collaborative, proactive mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first work environment.
    • Ownership of personal camera gear for professional shoots is a bonus.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-location shoots and industry events.
