Weekend Games and Pokemon Writer (US)

Dexerto is looking for a Weekend Games and Pokemon writer to work from home in the US. This is a part-time, entry level position that will require you to work on a Saturday and Sunday. 

The role would suit a talented and passionate student or graduate who is looking to get some experience of writing.  Just send us your CV, any examples of your written work and tell us what games you are into.

A passion for Pokemon is essential for this role - you need have strong knowledge of the games - including main series Pokemon games, GO, TCG Pocket and more. An understanding of the Trading Card Game and anime is also desirable. However, you also should be a versatile writer who is able to source and write compelling stories about big gaming franchises and trending titles, including the likes of Call of Duty, Overwatch, Fortnite, Marvel Rivals and more. 

Requirements

• Understanding and knowledge of gaming
  Understanding and knowledge of Pokemon
• A snappy and compelling writing style
• Have a keen attention to detail – can spot grammatical errors and fact check
• Able to act independently on writing tasks
• SEO knowledge
• Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop and be able to use it competently
• Experience with content management systems is desirable
• Able to work eight hours a day
