TECHNE Architecture & Development is a San Diego-based architecture firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. We focus on innovative, fire-resistant designs and elegant solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Our goal is to expand into Pacific Palisades/Malibu and strengthen our presence in San Diego’s luxury market.


We’re seeking an experienced part-time freelance marketing manager to help us execute a targeted 6-month marketing plan. The ideal candidate has expertise in luxury services, architecture/design, or similar industries.


Responsibilities

The freelance marketing manager will take the lead in implementing our marketing plan, including but not limited to:

  • General Contractor (GC) and Attorney Outreach:
    • Research and compile contact lists.
    • Create and distribute targeted outreach materials (email templates, brochures).
  • Ad Campaign Management:
    • Launch and manage Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Ads campaigns.
    • Optimize targeting and report on campaign performance.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Create and post engaging content (3–4 posts per week) across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
    • Develop content focusing on luxury residential projects, fire-resistant designs, and commercial interiors.
  • Webinar Coordination:
    • Plan, promote, and manage a virtual webinar targeted at referral partners and clients.
  • SEO & Website Updates:
    • Optimize website content and blog posts for fire rebuild and luxury design keywords.
  • Public Relations:
    • Draft and pitch press releases to regional and national publications.
    • Coordinate interview opportunities and assist with award submissions.
  • Reporting & Strategy Updates:
    • Provide weekly updates on campaign progress and suggest adjustments to maximize ROI.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience with marketing for architecture, design, or other luxury service industries.
  • Expertise in social media marketing, ad platforms, and SEO.
  • Strong writing skills for creating engaging content, outreach materials, and press releases.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Pacific Palisades/Malibu markets is a plus.


Details

  • Hours: 10 hours per week.
  • Rate: $50–$80/hour, depending on experience.
  • Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential to extend.
  • Location: Remote, with preference for candidates familiar with California markets.
